Peter da Silva Vint

Peter da Silva Vint is a managing partner at Jasper Street. Peter focuses on advising public company boards and management teams across the globe primarily on strategic shareholder advisory and activism preparedness, corporate governance, and ESG strategy.
Previously, Peter worked on BlackRock’s Investment Stewardship team and was responsible for engaging with boards and management on special situations such as activism and M&A, strategy and long-term ESG investment themes. He was also an investment banker at Barclays, Moelis & Company and J.P. Morgan and a corporate lawyer at Linklaters.
Peter is a leading expert on corporate governance best practices and the responsibilities of public company directors. He has spoken on panels at Harvard Business School and Stanford Law School and has partnered with legal and executive search firms to train public company directors.
Peter received his B.A. from Virginia Tech, J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management. He is a supporter of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.
Born in Portugal, Peter holds dual E.U. and U.S. nationalities and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English and conversational in Italian.
